Kyla played with the Ottawa Sport & Social Club while living in Ottawa for a few years, but found she missed the sport & social club experience when she moved away. After seeing the need and opportunity to bring an improved quality of life to adults in other communities, she founded the Forest City Sport & Social Club in London in August 2009, before later bringing the experience to Windsor with the Rose City Sport & Social Club. After a few years away, she's excited to bring the fun, friends, fitness and connection back to Windsor with TimeOut!
Dave is our Director, joining the club after 12 years at the YMCA working in Aquatics, Outdoor Education, Youth Engagement and overseeing fitness facilities. He led teams, large and small, in providing great options for healthy living to communities across Southwestern Ontario. He has a passion for the outdoors, sports and anything he can do with his two dogs Charlie and Jimmy. Dave got into adult leagues by co-founding Summit Sports, a competitive volleyball league. He is very excited about the "social" in Sport and Social and to be starting a new adventure in Windsor!
Emily has played with the club since 2017, and joined the team as League Coordinator in summer 2022. She has a background in music education, and has earned a Bachelor of Music in Voice and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor. Emily is an unapologetic Taylor Swift fan, is passionate about pizza, and enjoys spending her free time doing various activities with friends including karaoke, board games, and of course, playing Ultimate and Softball. She is beyond excited to bring the Sport & Social Club experience back to her hometown of Windsor!
